"What's that mush all over the floor?" "Oh that? That's Just my brain, no big dEal."

Well today was rather long. 8am to 5pm is Far to long to be absorbing inFoRmation; like pukE to a sponge. In mY personal opinion. i guess that's what I get for signing up for a two day course. My goodness that "faciLitator" can speak fOr long and Vigorous hours, EverYtime I lOoked at the clock the hoUrs seemed to go by slower and slower.

Tomorrow isn't looking any better. :/ Lord give me strength.

Sleep not an option at this point.

Good Night!!

Challenge: Figure out the coded message. Should be pretty easy. Good Luck!

Normally Not a Morning Person

Normally I would be fairly unmotivated to get myself up in the mornings, being a home schooler I have the advantage of sleeping in most days, I found today that I had a new burst of energy.
Besides meeting with a client I knew I would be having a great morning. Thanks to the beautiful gift of daily Mass. That certainly gave me the strength to go about my day in a way that expresses glory to God and doing every little task in his name.

The Responsorial Psalm really stood out to me today; Those who follow you, Lord, will have the light of life.
I really like that because it speaks very true and clearly to me. Something that I will really reflect on today.

The life of coaching is not one for the faint of heart. Not only is it physically demanding it is mentally exhausting. Keeping up with grade 8 boys on the water is quite a handful and hearing some of their conversations are slightly disturbing. Yesterday it was about mutilating all the fish in the lake, becuase they had convinced themselves that they would be able to row faster by removing the fish. Silly silly boys. Will they ever learn?

Anyways, it would be wise for me to get to my studies. I guess I've let procrastination get the better of me.

God Bless all.

Giving Thanks

Saturday. A day for finishing work, praising the Lord and giving thanks for the gift of life. Today is special inparticular, its the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.

In Luke's Gospel the story of Jesus healing ten Lepers is told:

On the way to Jerusalem Jesus was going through the region between Samaria and Galilee. As he entered a village, ten lepers approached him. Keeping their distance, they called out, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" When Jesus saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were made clean. Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. He prostrated himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus asked, "Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they? Was none of them found to return and give his praise to God except this foreigner?" Then he said to him, "Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well."

Luke 17 11:19

Jesus Christ healed 10 men of leprosy and only one gave thanks.

Are you one of the nine that was healed and never gave thanks?
Or are you the one who saw that he was cleaned, and gave thanks and praise to God?

We have been blessed with so much, the gift of life alone is a gift far greater than what we deserve. We were created out of love, and in the Divine Image. Be thankful everyday, for you never know when God will call you to come be with him.

My Saturdays consist of catching up on work and spending precious time with my family. My tummy is telling me its getting close to turkey time! I am thankful to be able to spend thanksgiving in a warm home and surrounded by so many of my extended family members as well as all of my immediate family.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank God It's Friday.

Well, as many will tell you, Friday never comes fast enough.
I can't help but agree. Fridays are one of my most favorite days of the week. It's scrapbook day in Religion, shorter classes, and pizza & movie night with the fam!

Coaching on Fridays is great too, because we get on and off the water an hour sooner than normal. Today was no different.

I got lot's of drive time in today which always excites me. Only 10.5 months till I can drive alone!!

Trying to school on Fridays never really works out for me.... I completed almost nothing today, which is kinda sad. Makes me wonder how I plan to graduate this year, because if everyday were like today then it'd be years before I graduate!!

That's all for now!

God Bless!
